Austin Robert Butler is an American actor. Initially, Austin had his television debut on the Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Later, Austin Butler landed recurring roles in teen dramas, such as Life Unexpected (2010–2011) and Switched at Birth (2011–2012) on The CW. His roles in The Shannara Chronicles (2016–2017) and The Carrie Diaries (2013–2014) helped him become well-known.
Butler played Tex Watson in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and made his Broadway debut in the 2018 production of The Iceman Cometh (2019). Austin became more well-known in 2022 after playing Elvis Presley in the musical biopic Elvis, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor and won a Golden Globe.
