Daniela Ruah (Real Name: Daniela Sofia Korn Ruah) was born on the 2nd of December, 1993. She is an American Portuguese actress and Film director famous for NCIS Special Agent Kensi Blye (BS police procedural series NCIS: Los Angeles).
Early Life – Education and Birth Place
Daniela was born when her parents were residing in Boston, Massachusetts, United States, She is of Portuguese and American descent with Portuguese-Russian Jewish ancestry. She owns Portuguese and American citizenship. Ruah is fluent in Portuguese and English languages. She stayed in America till she was 5 and then her parents moved back to Portugal where she earned her early education.
She Went to St Julian’s School and later she started her career in 2016 from her role in Telenovelas. In the recent era, she participated in a Portuguese television dance competition and won with dignity.
Later in 2018, Daniela moved to London and attended London Metropolitan University for her Bachelor in Art in performing arts. She continued acting after returning to Portugal. After a while, she moved to New York in 2007 and studied at Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Struggle and Career
When she was a teen, she started working in Portuguese soap operas. She debuted in 16, she played Sara on the soap opera Jardins Proibidos (“Forbidden Gardens”).
After Daniela graduated from London, She pursued her acting in Portugal. She won the Danca Comigo (Celebrity dancing competition)(A Portugal version of Dancing with the Stars). Later she played main roles in Short films, TV series, and theatres.
Then she was cast as Special Agent Kensi Blye in NCIS: Los Angeles. From this special and most important character, she got fame and heights of success.
In 2018, Ruah co-hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon, Portugal. She collaborated with Catarina Furtado, Silvia Alberto, and Filomena Cautela in this show.
