When he was eight, he got a minimal role in a TV show called “Pioneer Woman”. After this, he didn’t take part in any other movie until he finished his school education.
Karl spent four years at Wellington College from 1986 to 1990. After that, he went to Victoria University of Wellington to further his education. After that, there are many other movies in which he works. Karl was Eomer in The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King” movie; he was the nephew of King Théoden of Rohan. He leads a group of fighters against Sauron’s army.
He is a Russian agent named Kiril in “The Bourne Supremacy” movie. Many people predict that he will play James Bond in “Casino Royale” movie, but they are entirely wrong.
In 2005, he worked in a sci-fi/action movie called “Doom.” Karl’s character was John “Reaper” Grimm. Grimm is a very skilled Marine who takes his team to Mars for research. During research, they met with terrifying creatures. To save their lives, they have to fight with those creatures.
“Pathfinder” was an Action/Adventure movie released in 2007. Western movies were Karl Urban’s favorite movies. In 2008, Comanche Moon was a western TV Show in which he played the role.
In his childhood, when he saw an Old Star Trek movie, it was his dream to play this character, and in 2009, his dream was completed, and in Star Trek, he played “Dr. Leonard Bones McCoy”. People who are fans of Old Star Trek also liked this movie. After the blockbuster success of this movie, he also worked on the two other versions of Star Trek.
In the “RED” movie, he was the CIA agent William Cooper. His other role in “Priest” was as a bad guy who turns into a vampire.
