However, after reading the graveyard scene from the pilot, she was so impressed that Kreuk eventually accepted the role right away. She left Smallville in early 2008 when her character left town. She appeared as a guest star in the show’s eighth season for five episodes to complete her storyline.

In 2010, Kreuk played Ben Hur’s sister Tizrah in the TV movie Ben Hur, which aired in Canada.
