She began singing at the age of seven, participating in talent shows and auditions, claiming that “singing came naturally.” She then enrolled at Parker Elementary School in Houston, where she quickly rose to the top of the chorus. Following that, she attended Kinder High School. She attended Alief Elsik High School and studied visual and performing arts before joining the St. John’s United Methodist Church choir.

In her youth, she formed the girl group Girls Tyme. A few months after her performance in Vegas, she received ten Grammy nominations for “Run the World (Girls), Notably, Love on Top,” one of her best songs, which won the Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance. On November 30, 2023, Beyoncé released her documentary concert film, Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé, which she wrote, directed, and produced in collaboration with AMC Theatres.
